The Small Print

Packages are for boat or beach dives to standard dive sites in Speyside only.
Packages do not include dives to South Atlantic, Southern Caribbean or Sisters.
Packages are per person and may not be shared.
Tanks, weights and refreshments are included.
Secondary dive lights included for night dives.
Course prices include certification and all materials unless stated.

Speyside, Northeast Caribbean, Northwest Caribbean, Crown Point and Southwest Atlantic. Each area has numerous dive sites and its own special appeal. For divers who wish to take advantage of my island wide diving experience a multi dive package with added excursions will allow you to make dives around all the areas and so get a taste of the variety the diving in Tobago. These excursion fees are simply added to the basic package price. Please read my information on standard and exclusive dive sites

Exclusive Dives

For experienced inquisitive divers who wish to explore the infrequently dived or otherwise unknown uncharted reefs off the Northeast Caribbean and Atlantic coasts where sweeping currents bring in Big Fish. Exclusive dives are only possible when weather and sea conditions permit. Please read my information on standard and exclusive dive sites

Night Dives

Corals may be seen spawning and bioluminescence are abundant glowing with every fin kick. An interesting light show! For night dives I wait until its good and dark and everything on the night shift is out and about and not still sleeping. Fish, normally afraid in bright sunlight will allow us to get close, and your divelight will pick up the true vibrant colors of corals, predators such as moray eels, octopus and sharks patrol over the reef looking to feed. Night dives can be made from shore or boat. Back up torches are included for night dives.

Equipment Rental

I have both men’s and women’s BCD’s, Masks and Shorty wetsuits in XS, S, M, L & XL. A wide range of sizes of fullfoot fins and regulators. All my clients are provided with emergency surface markers. I have a limited number of dive computers for rental. Complete equipment sets are available at $30.00 per set per day. I do not rent booties or open fins.

BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

I have made the booking/reservation process even easier with my Online Booking Service! Email me with your requested dates and required dive package. I will confirm if that time is available and if it is I can then send you concise details of how to make your deposit. Although you will be informed if third parties are interested in the same ‘slot’ you require your booking/dates will not be held as confirmed until deposits are received.

PRE BOOKED DEPOSITS

Your deposit should be for 150 pounds received into the account ( for US dollars please email me for the current deposit amount). Any transfer charges are at cost of the sender, the deposit will be deducted from your final bill as $1500 tt, less any transfer/wire fees.

For ease of understanding prices published on the website are quoted in $US, your bill is made into local currency $TT dollars at $1 USD = $6.3 TTD. The balance can be paid in local currency $TTD or $USD, GBP, $Euro, ‘buying’exchange rates may be subject to change. If you wish to pay the balance by online transfer this must be paid in full at least four working days prior to your departure from Tobago. Traveller’s cheques are accepted but not preferred, credit cards are not accepted.

PRE PAID PACKAGES

Your payment should be for full amount of your dive package received into the account. Any transfer charges are at cost of the sender, so please be sure you wire the correct amount. Once you have made your payment please email me with the transfer details and I will confirm upon receipt. Although you will be informed if third parties are interested in the same dates you require your bookings/dates will not be held as confirmed until deposits are received.

Caribstu Dive Service is not responsible for any transfer or wire fees or should payments/deposits be received short of the full amount.

Once you have made your deposit or full payment please email me with the transfer details and I will upon receipt confirm your ‘slot’ dates.

Dive package or dive course cancellations made within 60 days of your ‘slot’ are non refundable. Dive package or dive course cancellations made between 60 and 90 days of your ’slot’ are refundable up to 75% of payments made. Dive package or dive course cancellations made outside of 90 days of your ‘slot’ are fully refundable of payments made less an administration fee.
Caribstu Dive Service is not responsible for dives cancelled/aborted due to fear, inability to equalize, ear problems due to improper equalization, self induced illness, or other issues uncontrollable by the dive operator. Once the diver has boarded the boat it is understood they are committed to the dive schedule of the boat, and therefore no refund will be due. Dive Packages cannot be transferred between divers, all packages are for the use of one person only.

Caribstu Dive Service has a no tolerance policy for “drinking and diving” or ANY illegal drug use. Anyone showing up for the dive hung-over or smelling of alcohol will not be allowed on the boat and will not be issued a refund, the days planned dives will be considered ‘spent‘. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy. Caribstu Dive Service has a zero tolerance to any drug use. Dives cancelled by Caribstu Dive Service due to poor weather conditions, we will allow the client the option to reschedule the dive (based on availability), to receive a “rain check” for a future trip, or to receive a refund for the dive.

Caribstu Dive Service reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime with no refund if divers deemed to be unsafe, irresponsible, have health or over-weight concerns, do not follow the dive plans, disobey “project aware” regulations, or are otherwise disrespectful to the crew.

Exceptions to these cancellation policies will be made at the discretion of the management on a case by case basis. Dive credits and “rain checks” will be used at the discretion of the management.

This cancellation policy will be modified in the event of an act of God. However, please be assured that refunds and rescheduling will be handled as fairly and efficiently as possible in this event.

Redeemer is a non smoking dive boat and all clients will be required to respect this rule. Exchange rates may be subject to change without notice. Your deposit or payment is taken as acceptance of the terms & conditions.

Please remember that by the nature of my personal service I cannot take divers for any dates already booked, I advise you therefore to book early to avoid disappointment. For divers travelling from or via the USA please enquire about pre paid packages only, Pre booked packages are not available to persons travelling from or via the USA.
