Divemaster Course
There is probably no other term in diving with more diverse interpretation than Divemaster. This is where you start your PADI professional career, begin looking after other divers and taking your diving skills to new levels. The Course is intensive and if you undertake a DM course with me I will be there to help you all the way. The course involves a lot of dive theory in areas such as physics, physiology and decompression theory, dive skills, stamina tests, practical application and assisting with confined and open water dives from other PADI courses. That means working with students from DSD right through to Specialties and Rescue. It is best to take your time, gaining in water experience will help you learn as much as possible about diving. A well trained divemaster should be able to become an instructor the next day.
Taking a divemaster course requires a serious commitment from you, and in many ways is more of a lifestyle than a diving course. You can contact me to discuss your options and ask for more details about becoming a PADI Divemaster.
Course duration: There are two options,
Option 1 - Assessment and Certification - 2 weeks.
Option 2 - Training, Assessment & Certification which takes from 6 - 9 weeks.
I do not recommend 2 week courses for Divemaster unless you are already well prepared. I do not offer free Divemaster internships.
Option 1: US$1500 Option 2: US$2500
Divemaster courses do not include dive equipment, certification fee or purchase of manuals. Upon successful completion of a Divemaster course certification fee is paid directly to PADI. In the event a candidate fails to reach Divemaster standards they will not be certified and course fee is non refundable
